Highlander, Galley & Petronella (HGP) Area

The HGP area consists of 3 producing fields that were shut in in 2020, having been previously tied back to the Tartan platform. The area has proven recoverable reserves in excess of 20MM bbls, with further highly prospective in fill targets identified.

01 — highlander

Developed as a tie back to the Tartan field, Highlander was a 3 well development producing c. 2200 bbls/d prior to shut in in 2020 when the host was decommissioned.

With a STOIIP of c. 180MM bbls, the initial development reservoir is in the Lower Cretaceous Scapa formation, with a new reservoir discovered with an in fill well in the Upper Jurassic Piper formation. The Jurassic reservoir in particular has a very low recovery factor prior to shut in.

Highlander

03 — galley

Developed as a tie back to the Northern Producer FPSO and later rerouted to Tartan, Galley was producing c. 2000 boe/d prior to shut in in 2020 when the host was decommissioned.

With a STOIIP of c. 114MM bbls, the source reservoir is primarily the Upper Jurassic Galley sands with an overlying Palaeocene accumulation.

05 — petronella

Developed as a tie back to the Tartan field, Petronella was a single well development producing c. 1200 bbls/d prior to shut in.

With a STOIIP of c. 75MM bbls, the initial development reservoir was in the Upper Jurassic Piper formation. The acreage contains multiple additional potential targets.
